1) Muskogee AT Booker T Washington
A week after dethroning #1 Bixby and taking over the top spot in 6A-D2, the Roughers will travel to Tulsa to take on #1 Booker T Washington. The Hornets have rolled the last few weeks after a brutal non-district schedule saw them 2-2 after week three.
2) Carl Albert AT Bishop McGuinness
In a huge Thursday night clash, the district champion will more than likely be the winner of this 5A-2 match-up. Carl Albert has been dominant lately. Bishop McGuinness is getting stronger after some early season injuries.
3) Norman North AT Southmoore
Two of the state’s most dynamic offenses will square off when Norman North travels to Southmoore. Norman North’s offense hasn’t been slowed down all year. Southmoore has completely bounced back from an early loss to Westmoore. Get ready for points.
4) Ardmore AT Altus
A big 5A top ten battle as Ardmore travels to Altus. The defending champion Bulldogs haven’t lost yet this year. Ardmore was tripped up at Carl Albert but they’ve bounced back. The winner keeps their district title hopes alive.
5) Anadarko AT John Marshall
Anadarko dropped a close 7-0 contest to Douglass two weeks ago. We’ll find out how serious the Warriors are as contenders when they travel to OKC to face #2 John Marshall. The Bears made a statement two weeks ago with a blowout win over Sulphur.
6) Lawton MacArthur AT Del City
Here’s another 5A-1 clash between two ranked teams. #1 Lawton MacArthur travels to the OKC metro area for their first big district test of the year. Del City already had a big win over Bishop McGuinness this year. They try to get another big one Friday.
7) Adair AT Wyandotte
It’s Wyandotte’s biggest test of the year. Wyandotte has jumped out to a surprising 5-0 start and they have the number one defense in the state, in regards of points given up. However, #1 Adair, the defending champs, come to town for a huge 2A clash.
8) Westmoore AT Broken Arrow
Broken Arrow is in bounce back mode after a beatdown on the road against Jenks. Now Westmoore comes to town. They’re trying to establish themselves as serious contenders in 6A-D1. A road win over the Tigers would be huge.
9) Cashion AT Crescent
In a big rivalry game, this one has more on the line as both teams come in ranked in the top ten. Cashion is playing with a man down as quarterback Matt Harman had surgery last month on his throwing hand. Another game that could decide a district champ.
10) Clinton AT Cache
Cache was stunned last week in an overtime loss to Elgin. That’s taken some of the luster of this match-up away. However, this game has massive playoff implications. A win could be the difference between a home or road playoff game.
