Sulphur 2018 offensive lineman Jacob Farrell has been one of the hottest recruits in Oklahoma over the last month. On Thursday night, Farrell decided to end his recruitment with a commitment to Oklahoma State. In a matter of a few months, Farrell went from an unknown prospect out of Sulphur to D1 offers all over the country.
Farrell becomes the fourth in-state prospect to commit to Oklahoma State’s 2018 class. He joins fellow offensive linemen Bryce Bray of Bixby and Hunter Anthony of Tuttle. He also joins Union wide receiver CJ Moore as Cowboy commits. Farrell is apart of a very deep offensive line group. This could be one of the deepest classes at the offensive line position. Farrell is also another elite prospect that is committing before we even reach July.
Farrell is the 17th prospect in Oklahoma’s 2018 class to commit to a D1 program. He’s also the 7th offensive lineman to commit an the 3rd in the last week. Bishop McGuinness OL Owen Condon committed to Georgia and John Marshall OL Nigel Brannon committed to Memphis. The other four are all committed to in-state programs. Bixby’s Bryce Bray and Tuttle’s Hunter Anthony to Oklahoma State. Southmoore’s Brey Walker to Oklahoma and Bixby’s Josh Owens to Tulsa.
