Tahlequah Sequoyah found themselves in a dog fight against upset-minded Kingston. However, the Lady Indians flipped the switch in the second half and ran away with their second straight state championship. The gold ball was also their third in the last four years. Leading the way was star sophomore Alexys Keys. She was this year’s pick for tournament MVP. She was also the tourney MVP last year as a freshman.
