Oklahoma State has landed another top in-state prospect on Sunday. Del City 2021 standout Donny Stephens tweeted out a video where announced his commitment to the Cowboys. Stephens celebrated his birthday with his college commitment, the day before high schools begin practicing for the 2020 season.

Stephens picked Oklahoma State over Boise State and Texas Tech. He joins several other Oklahoma prospects as an OSU commit for this 2021 class. He’s the seventh in-state prospect committed to the Cowboys. Arkansas is second with six in-state prospect commits. He joins Aden Kelley (Thomas), Collin Oliver (Edmond Santa Fe), Jaden Bray (Norman), Logan Nobles (Jenks), Makale Smith (Midwest City) and Ty Williams (Muskogee). Stephens is also the 26th prospect in Oklahoma’s 2021 class to commit.

The Del City standout projects to playing the linebacker spot at the next level. Although he has the versatility to roaming the secondary as a safety. In our latest rankings for the 2021 class, Stephens came in as the 18th best prospect in the state.

Stephens was one of the best prospects that had not announced his commitment. One of Stephens’ teammates, Rejhan Tatum, is another one of those top uncommitted prospects and he has Oklahoma State in his final three.
