Without a doubt the best quarterback in the state this year. He’s been one of the best, if not the best quarterback prospect since his sophomore year. Thompson is a true dual-threat quarterback but prefers to slice up defenses with his arm.

The lefty is a quarterback on the rise. He showed some promise last year as a sophomore. We’re looking forward to seeing how he’s progressed this offseason during spring ball.

2018 – Christian Heritage

Camden Cargill is a rare Christian Heritage prospect to make it on the OKPreps Big Board. However, he’s got a cannon of an arm and his accuracy is what separates him from other quarterbacks.

2018 – Mustang

The younger brother of former Oklahoma standout quarterback Chandler Garrett. Brayden had a solid junior campaign last year and looks to continue the momentum he had at the end of the year.

2018 – Heritage Hall

Heritage Hall’s Blake Adams has been calm, cool and collected since taking over at Heritage Hall as a freshman and sophomore. Adams stars as a quarterback and defensive back.

2018 – Westmoore

Westmoore’s Braxton Bohrofen is a good example of a two-sport star. He leads the way for Westmoore at quarterback but his college future could be on the baseball diamond.

Ian Corwin had big shoes to fill with the graduation of all time leading passer Cooper Nunley. The sophomore was calm, cool and collected in his first year as the starting quarterback.

2018 – Victory Christian

Victory Christian’s RJ Wakley is a physical athlete that doesn’t shy away from contact. Because of that, you’ll probably see Wakley on the defensive side of the ball in college.

2018 – Muldrow

Braden Gleason is one of the more underrated dual-threat quarterbacks in the state. The lefty has the ability to throw on the run and also take off with the ball. He’s a stout safety prospect as well.

2018 – Cushing

Cushing has historically had a great running game and that’s the reason they’ve been so successful this decade. However, Kade Holderread torched defenses last year in the air as Cushing started to open things up offensively.

2018 – John Marshall

Without a doubt the best running back in Oklahoma right now. Devonte Lee is an absolute wrecking ball with the football in his hands. Lee rarely goes down on the first point of contact.

2019 – Enid

Enid’s Will Phillips emerged as a prospect to watch last spring. He backed that up with a fantastic sophomore season running the ball. He’s without a doubt the best running back in the 2019 class.

Bixby’s Tucker Pawley is an absolute workhorse at the running back position. He emerged as a star during Bixby’s latest championship run.

In his first year with Berryhill, Brady Williams continued to excel at the running back position. He’ll be asked to do much more this coming season as a senior.

Kolb was the lightning to Tyrel Bell’s thunder last year for Choctaw. This year, he’ll be the feature back for the Yellowjackets. He’s looking to have a breakout season.

Mustang’s Carlos Thomas always found his way to the end zone during his junior campaign. With a strong spring and summer, he’ll rise up this list.

Joseph Smith has been no stranger to getting out in front of potential colleges at camps. With a strong spring and summer, he could emerge as a D1 prospect.

Garret Brooks had one of the best seasons last year as a junior for Stigler. If he continues to improve, he’ll rival John Marshall’s Devonte Lee for the rushing title this year.

Morrison’s Ryker Hughes didn’t get a lot of publicity around the state last year but he had a fantastic season. He has the opportunity to really become one of the state’s best backs this fall.

2018 – Hilldale

Mikey Winston was a touchdown machine for Hilldale as they made the jump from 3A football to 4A football in 2016. Seeing what he’ll do for an encore in 2017 will be something to watch.

2018 – Union

CJ Moore is the latest in a recent surge of big-bodied receivers that can absolutely fly. Moore stands about 6’4 and is a constant mismatch for defenders. He has similar size to former Westmoore standout Dahu Green, who is now at Oklahoma.

2019 – Collinsville

Grayson Boomer, brother of Seth Boomer who signed with Tulsa, is every bit of 6’5 and 225 pounds. In the past, it’s been open as to what Boomer could be at the next level. However, he’s 100% committed to being a tight end at the next level. .

2018 – Jones

Standing 6’5, it’s hard to miss Jones standout Sean Shaw. He’s one of the state’s best deep threats at the wide receiver position. You can’t teach size and Shaw has that down.

2019 – Millwood

One of the fastest rising recruits regardless of class. Millwood receiver Demariyon Houston is a part of a very young and talented Millwood team. He’s already blown up this spring.

2018 – Wagoner

Wagoner’s Nikia Jones has been a star for the Bulldogs since his freshman year. He’s helped lead Wagoner to three straight state championships and has emerged as one of the best receivers in the state.

2018 – Westmoore

One of the more intriguing prospects in the 2018 class is James Palmer from Westmoore. He has the size and ability. He could end up being higher in the rankings as a borderline top ten prospect.

2018 – Norman North

Stoops is the best slot receiver in the state. He’s in a class that is loaded with tall outside receivers. Stoops is a dynamic playmaker in the slot.

2018 – Lawton

A fast rising recruit who has established himself as a can’t miss receiver prospect. Dominick Neal came on strong to end his junior season.

2018 – Fort Gibson

Just like Neal at Lawton, Rusty Rudd from Fort Gibson is another wide receiver prospect who went from unranked to into the top 25. Like Neal, he’ll look to have a strong spring.

Union’s Adrian Wilson can get overlooked with all the talent the Redskins have. However, he’s an absolute threat as a slot receiver.

2018 – Southmoore

He’s been #1 from the first 2018 rankings we published and he stays right on top. The All American left tackle could end up being the best high school prospect to come out of Oklahoma since Gerald McCoy over a decade ago. He continues to get bigger and stronger which is scary for opposing defenses.

2018 – Bixby

Jumping all the way up into the top five of the OKPreps Rankings, Bixby’s Bryce Bray has been fantastic on the camp scene. He was named MVP of the OL group down at The Opening regional in Dallas. That group also featured 2018’s #1 Brey Walker.

2018 – John Marshall

Out of all the 2018 prospects, John Marshall’s Nigel Brannon might have the highest ceiling for what kind of prospect he could be. Brannon has all the physical tools to be an elite prospect. He still has to prove that status with more consistent play.

2018 – Bishop McGuinness

Another stout offensive tackle prospect in a class that is absolutely full of top offensive tackles. Condon continues to get better and better. His first step is getting quicker. Once he gets his hands on you, it’s game over.

5 HUNTER ANTHONY
2018 – Tuttle

Tuttle’s Hunter Anthony, already committed to Oklahoma State, is the state’s largest prospect at 6’7 and over 300 pounds. Anthony has everything you need in the size department but his quickness and first step must keep improving.

2020 – Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow’s Andrew Raym is the only 2020 prospect to make the OKPreps Big Board. Raym is already on the radar of high-profile colleges all over the country. Emerged as a potential star last season as a freshman.

2018 – Bixby

When scouting Bixby’s offensive line, many eyes will be on offensive tackle Bryce Bray. However, don’t overlook Josh Owens, who has already had a very busy spring.

2019 – Union

Union has been a mainstay in the 2017 and 2018 player rankings. 2019 won’t be any different with Richard Stromberg. He’s the early leader in the clubhouse for top lineman in the 2019 class.

Midwest City’s Morgan Moore has all the physical tools down. He needs to continue to progress this spring and summer and he’ll see his stock go up.

In a class that is dominated by big offensive tackles, Altus’ Kade Wilson is an interior offensive lineman that you’ll need to keep an eye on this summer.

2018 – Putnam City

In most years, it would be Tatum that would be the hands down best pass-rusher in the state. This year, it’s very close between him and Midwest City linebacker Jalen Redmond. Don’t be surprised if these two go back and forth this year for that honor.

2018 – Union

Another Union prospect right on the border of being in the top ten overall rankings for 2018. Defensive tackle Jordan Kelley has been one of the fastest rising prospects in the 2018 class. He went from being a borderline D1 player to an Oklahoma commit in less than a year.

2018 – Millwood

Another fast rising prospect is Millwood’s defensive lineman Israel Antwine. The Millwood standout is apart of a very talented and young group at Millwood that won a state championship in 2016.

2019 – Putnam City

One of the must stops this spring will be at Putnam City to see Ron Tatum III. On the other end of the line you’ll see perhaps the best defensive linemen in the 2019 class in Collin Clay.

2018 – Jones

Jones standout Dalton May could end up playing tight end as well at the next level. However, he’s an outstanding pass-rusher. May has great size and shows a lot of versatility.

Cole Mashburn, brother of Memphis linebacker signee Cade Mashburn, made a huge splash during his sophomore campaign. He’ll be looked at to become one of the leaders on defense this fall.

2018 – Owasso

Alexander is another Owasso defensive prospect in the top 30 overall rankings for the 2018 class. Alexander is very disruptive on the line of scrimmage.

This is another year where John Marshall has multiple prospects in the OKPreps Rankings. Brown is similar to teammate Nigel Brannon. He has all the physical tools to be a high-rated prospect.

2018 – Jenks

Krager is the latest Jenks defensive tackle prospect that is starting to gain some momentum on the recruiting trail. Krager has the chance to really blow up this spring and summer.

Kody Stanley is yet another Berryhill defensive prospect on the OKPreps Big Board. Stanley is apart of a stout Berryhill defensive unit. Stanley is a defensive end prospect on the rise.

2018 – Midwest City

All Redmond did in his first year of competitive football since middle school was make the OKPreps All State 1st Team. Redmond is a freak athlete that has a motor that doesn’t slow down. He’s the best pass-rusher in the state. He could be moved to an edge rusher on the end.

2018 – Bixby

Bixby’s Coby Tillman is the hardest hitting inside linebacker in the state. He has a nose for the football and is routinely finds himself in the right place at the right time.

Brody Odom had a breakout year for Wynnewood in 2016 and looks to continue that momentum this offseason. He was a sack machine as a junior.

Bishop Kelley’s Bryce Alonso looks the part as an elite linebacker prospect. He still has some work to do on the field but his stock is definitely on the rise as we get close to the summer months.

Continuing the trend of looking the part, enter Jenks standout Trey Miller. The Trojan senior to be has all the physical tools you’re looking for in a linebacker prospect.

If you haven’t figured out by now, Millwood is loaded with talent. The prospect that’s perhaps about to blow up is linebacker Dezmond Howard. He is an absolute wrecking ball at the linebacker spot.

2018 – Jenks

The second of a pair of Jenks standouts at the linebacker position. Kulkin is an absolute terror on the defensive side of the ball. A sure tackler is reminiscent of Austin Quillen from a few years ago.

2018 – Booker T Washington

Another Booker T Washington defender makes the OKPreps Big Board. Jason Harris II definitely has some promise when you watch the tape. We want to see more from him this spring and summer.

Most eyes were on Brock Martin when you watched the Oologah defense last year. However, if you look at the tape again, you notice Gunter Pearson making play after play.

Another All American selection, Owasso’s Josh Proctor has drawn comparisons to former Jenks standout Steven Parker. Proctor has similar size to the OU starting safety. He’s also a standout athlete on both the basketball court and football field.

Another highly ranked Union defensive back. Last year, it was cornerback Tre Brown. This year, it’s safety Patrick Fields. The Oklahoma commit was apart of a star-studded defense last year that featured several future D1 players.

2019 – Booker T Washington

The younger brother of Oklahoma State running back Justice Hill, Dax Hill is quickly making his own name. Hill is one of the fastest players in the state and uses that speed to his advantage as a defensive back.

2018 – Owasso

Wayne Jones makes up the other half of a dangerous safety group with All American Josh Proctor. Playing next to a prospect like Proctor could take eyes away from Jones but that hasn’t been the case.

Ace Vick is yet another prospect in the long line of stellar Midwest City defensive backs. Vick is the next one to watch for the Bombers.

A standout on the basketball floor as well, Jason Taylor helped lead Carl Albert to a state championship last fall. He’s expecting to have a big spring and summer.

Del City’s Isaac Beverley is one of the better athletes in the defensive back group. Beverley mainly lines up as a safety but could end up playing some cornerback.

Committed to Tulsa, Wilkerson has been impressive early on this spring. He won the RB MVP award at a Rivals camp already. Wilkerson’s versatility is what ranks him so high. He could end up being a running back or a linebacker.

Berryhill’s Rymond Green is another prospect that has a very high ceiling. Green’s pass-rushing skills makes him a must-see prospect.

Yet another talented McQuarters to come out of Booker T Washington. The latest is Rylan, who’s future is probably at defensive back, but he does it all for the Hornets.

Olsen is moving from Southmoore to Yukon and will have a chance to really excel under new head coach Jeremy Reed. Olsen’s versatility should have scouts excited.

Fisher is another example of a basketball/football standout. His future at the college level is undecided as to where he can fit but it’ll more than likely be defense.
